Usually in this section I’d dump links towards the best posts of the year, but just scroll the everything archive and see what you like most. As you can see, there’s been a decrease in number almost all over the board and that’s because I wrote less. Way less, by my standards, but the numbers don’t seem this bad.

It’s been a tough year, a hard year, with health problems, personal disappointments, shaky stuff on the professional side of things, and I’ve heard it from more people. 2025 was just one of those bad years.

This year I didn’t do a 365/366 project, as I was pretty burned out with the projects, so I decided to go with something a bit more easy and more involved, a 25 for 2025 project, which was supposed to contain 25 photos taken with my dSLR camera, but I got tired of that too and ran out of inspiration, mostly because of a really bad autumn mood and a winter even worse. So I stopped it at 13, just a bit over half. There are a few nice pics there. I suggest you look at them and read each of their stories.

However, I did start a new project, which I hope I’ll continue in the next year. I’d call it podcast, I’d call it mixtape, but it’s none. It’s just a bunch of songs tied together in a playlist that’s released every few weeks or so. It’s called Music Hour* and the star (and the joke) is that it’s almost never quite an hour. The episodes range in style from electronic music to rock and whatever else I’ll think of. I hope you enjoy them!

In the records section, I managed to add some more titles, 2025 brought some nice surprises in my collection, culminating with a new test pressing, this time a gift from the lovely guys at Luna Amara, the TP for the 2025 reissue of Pietre În Alb. I did get a few more signed and/or coming from Romanian artists records.

I did play with some gadgets that I already had this year, and also got to photograph my Technics hi-fi set, as well as some Laser Disc players, along with some older consoles I had. I also got a very cheap iMac and played with some Hi8 video cameras.

It wasn’t a great year for concerts, as the friends I used to go to concerts with moved to Tenerife and the other friends had a baby (love her!), so I didn’t go to many concerts. However, the ones I’ve seen were very good, so it evens out.

Before the new year comes over us, let’s take a moment and talk about graphs! AGAIN!!!

Looking at the monthly graph, you can see the time when I went full on movie watching, averaging more than a movie per day. It also shows how my posting habits come in waves, every now and then changing focus from one thing to the other.

The weekly graph shows a generally flat curve, with a high on Mondays, because I sometimes write on Sunday evenings and publish past midnight or the morning after. You can also see that I usually watch movies during the weekends.
