“Cinema” was a film culture magazine that was published weekly. Its first issue (No. 1) was released on October 15, 1924. The magazine continued to be published monthly, biweekly, or weekly until 1948.
Between 1963 and 1989, “Cinema” was revived by film critic, playwright, and author Ecaterina Oproiu, who served as editor-in-chief throughout this period. During these years, the magazine was published monthly.
