I’ve been watching the Oscars closely since about 2013 (I think James Bond: Skyfall was one of the movie that made me interested in them more). In the years since then, I’ve tried to follow the most important categories nominees, to make sure there’s something good to watch. However, this stops now considering the fact that the utter crap EEAAO got seven fucking trophies, including best movies. I was told several times that the Association and the critics are fucking moronic dinosaurs that will giggle at any polished-enough pretentious turd, so this stops now. I had a plan of more posts, but I realized that some of the movies there don’t even deserve a full-page review.
Oh, and The Banshees of Inisherin is a slow, boring, unfunny, miserable and pointless pot of dirt.
The Oscars 2023, or 95th Academy Awards, how they’re formally known have released the full nominations list on February 8, 2022. Below I’ll add a few of the most important categories, because I plan to see some of the movies (and some I’ve already seen). However, the full list of nominees is on the Oscars official site.
The awards ceremony will be hosted Sunday, March 27, 2022, so there’s a lot of time to see most of the movies here. Check the quickies section for new reviews, or check the list below.
