ROMANIA AT THE WORLD CUP!!!! … just kidding. After failing to qualify ending fourth in a group against Poland, Denmark, Montenegro, Armenia and Kazakhstan, the Romanian National Team enjoyed the Russian World Cup on TV. A cup which a successful attempt to sportswash president dictator Pladimir Vutin, a practice that is continued by FIFA to this day with the Qatar World Cup in 2022.

The same as before, I also got so many doubles by the time I finished the album, I was a few stickers short of completing a second one. Which I did. This album also benefitted of an update set, which I got, but didn’t glue.

While the packs prices increased was expected, I’ve noticed a very big drop in quality from Panini, the paper used for the stickers is so thin now, when you glue a sticker in the album, you can see through the sticker the number of the sticker printed on the album. So I think that this will mark the end of an era with Panini stickers and me.

Apparently, the quality of the stickers for the following collections (Euro 2020, and WC Qatar 2022) is also very bad, so that’s definitely goodbye for me.
