In 2000, Romania’s football was at a peak. Clubs were doing well in the continental championships, the National Team performed very well in the Euro 2000, and my interest for the sport was pretty big (I was fourteen back then).

Therefore, the first album dedicated to the Romanian teams was released for the 1999/2000 season after “Marele Fotbal 94-95”, which is very rare. It features the teams from Divizia A, the Romanian top tier: Steaua Bucuresti, FC National Bucuresti, FC Dinamo Bucuresti, AS Rocar Bucuresti, UFC Rapid Bucuresti, SC AStra Ploiesti, FC Petrolul Ploiesti, FC Ceahlaul Piatra-Neamt, FCM Bacau, FC Gloria Bistrita, AS.FC Extensiv Craiova, FC Farul Constanta, FC Universitatea Craiova, FC Onesti, CS Otelul Galati, CSM Resita, FC Brasov, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti.

This was fun to collect and I remember being very close to finishing it, but also had to buy a complete album from Rolland, because mine was lost in the countless times I moved.
