Macintosh Turns 40!

The first Apple Macintosh was introduced on January 24, 1984, by Steve Jobs. The Macintosh computer was so different from everything else on the market, as well as everything Apple had released to date. It was a “different kind of Apple”.

It was announced only two days before in a commercial titled “1984” shown during the 18th Super Bowl and directed by Ridley Scott.
