Five years after the events of OXENFREE, Riley returns to her hometown of Camena to investigate mysterious radio signals. What she finds is more than she bargained for.
I loved the original Oxenfree game, which I played on the Xbox a few years ago, and this sequel properly wraps the story in some good ways. The story is fairly linear, with some points where you choose a certain path, but all the roads eventually converge towards a new fork in the road. Your decisions matter, and the outcome will be definitely tied to your choices.
From the start to one of the endings it takes about 7 hours of play time and it will keep you pondering about the calls you made during the game. There is some reployability value, if you want to push towards all the achievements, but I settled with reading the other endings online. All in all, this is a solid weekend game and one of the best I played this year. Six joysticks.
