This hugo cocktail recipe makes a beautifully fresh and summery tipple. A simple blend of elderflower cordial, Prosecco and fresh mint and lime, this drink will kick off your aperitivo hour in style.
I took the text above from a website because I’m too busy making cocktails while reinstalling my macOS*, than to devise clever marketing descriptions.
- Get a big wine glass and throw a few ice cubes into it
- Crush some mint leaves and throw them in
- Pour some elderflower cordial (10-20 ml, depending on how sweet you want it)
- Add in a bit of sparkling water
- Top up with Prosecco
- Give a quick stir and garnish with some lime and some mint leaves
- Whenever the situation calls it, throw some 50ml of dry gin to give it an extra punch.
Adjust the water-to-prosecco-to-gin proportion based on the temperature outside, mood and/or how pissed are you at something.
Repeat until afternoon is finished or work is done.
*) A post about it is in the making, hang on.
