This hugo cocktail recipe makes a beautifully fresh and summery tipple. A simple blend of elderflower cordial, Prosecco and fresh mint and lime, this drink will kick off your aperitivo hour in style.

I took the text above from a website because I’m too busy making cocktails while reinstalling my macOS*, than to devise clever marketing descriptions.

  1. Get a big wine glass and throw a few ice cubes into it
  2. Crush some mint leaves and throw them in
  3. Pour some elderflower cordial (10-20 ml, depending on how sweet you want it)
  4. Add in a bit of sparkling water
  5. Top up with Prosecco
  6. Give a quick stir and garnish with some lime and some mint leaves
  7. Whenever the situation calls it, throw some 50ml of dry gin to give it an extra punch.

Adjust the water-to-prosecco-to-gin proportion based on the temperature outside, mood and/or how pissed are you at something.

Repeat until afternoon is finished or work is done.

*) A post about it is in the making, hang on.
