In the words of a brilliant man, motor sports are “some people running around in circles very fast and at the end Ferrari wins”. Well, the Italians did it again, now with the privateer car driven by the trio Robert Kubica / Yifei Ye / Phil Hanson.

LMP2 was won by the police-sounding bakers from Inter Europol Competition, driven by Jakub Śmiechowski / Tom Dillmann / Nick Yelloly, while LMGT3 was won by the car driven by Ryan Hardwick / Riccardo Pera / Richard Lietz.

What I learned this year:

  • TV coverage is shit
  • Don’t have favourites because their car will have issues
  • It’s nice to have women in motorsports, but they weren’t even close to the guys. Look at the stopwatches, they never lie.

Looking forward to the next year’s race, but not really. Maybe I’ll be interested for Lotterer.
