DIP officially stood for “Distributed Information Processing”, although secretly it actually stood for “David, Ian and Peter”, the three founding members of the company who were former employees of Psion.

The Toshiba Libretto 100CT is a marvel of engineering. Launched in April 1996, it manages to fit a powerful Pentium processor and 32MB RAM (up to 64MB) in a laptop less than one kilogram, squeezing a full Windows 95 PC into a device the size of a paperback book.

Michael Jordan is the kind of player that doesn’t need any introduction. As it would have been normal, Upper Deck released an album celebrating his career, featuring over 150 photos in various situations. The album also features several puzzle mega-stickers and some special cut stickers of Air Jordan shoes.

This is another collection I got back in the day, selling newspapers to afford to buy the packs. I didn’t finish it in time either, but by the magic of technology, I was able to acquire the last one I needed from France (107 - David Benoit - Utah Jazz). It’s one of my favourite collections and will always have a soft spot in my heart.

The fourth generation of PowerBook G3 (Pismo), was introduced in February 2000. It was code named ‘Pismo’ after the City of Pismo Beach, California. For this generation Apple dropped ‘G3’ from the name.
