Surreal tale in which love, fear, sex and religion merge into one fantastic world, based on a classical Czech novel of the same title.
Eastern European movie at its finest, blending good music, great cinematography with medieval fantasies. The story is not linear, nor it makes too much sense ,but all in all, it feels like an “Alice in Wonderland” mixed with “Twilight” directed more towards mature audiences and it is a good example of great fantasy East European experimental cinematography with a big dose of surrealism. Three popcorns, because it’s different than most other movies.
