A fading celebrity takes a black-market drug: a cell-replicating substance that temporarily creates a younger, better version of herself.
People that know me can safely say I’m not a fan of horror movies, nor of Demi Moore in particular. However, this movie manages to send a good message, packed in a well-made box and with great results. I love how these “has-been” actors get some nice roles in ambitious movies and they deliver masterfully in a very cinematic and visually (dis)pleasing body horror. The ending would make David Cronenberg proud, which is a good thing if you’re a fan. Three popcorns.
