The highly-acclaimed series returns for a thrilling sequel! Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) embarks on a new mission in Colombia involving a dangerous arms dealer, Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calva) and his seductive associate Roxana Bolanos (Camila Morrone). As Pine infiltrates Teddy’s operation, he uncovers untold layers of secrecy and corruption. Can he thwart the plot before it’s too late?
After a great first season, the second one comes 10 years later and somehow misses the mark by a lot. Dialogues are meh, the story is overcomplicated with 40 layers of double-crossings and plot twists, making this series a clunky continuation and a forgettable experience altogether, one that neither Tom Hiddleston nor Hugh Laurie can turn it around. Two popcorns, and there’s no need for a Season Three, but it will exist, like this one, because the first one was so commercially well-received it made buckets of cash.
