When Casey Connor, Herrington High School’s newspaper photographer, witnesses the murder of a nurse and sees her alive again, he decides to investigate the bizarre happenings.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie with such a huge density of stars (or future stars). Basically for the first 30 minutes you’re just gonna be pointing at the screen yelling “I know this one!”. While the movie falls pretty well into the slasher films of the end of the 90s, it’s got also depth into the character’s stories, which makes the movie much more interesting. The cast is filled with big names, Jordana Brewster, Clea DuVall, Laura harris, Josh Hartnett, Shawn Hatosy, Salma Hayek, Famke Janssen, Christopher McDonalds, Robert Patrick, Usher, Jon Stewart, Elijah Wood, Jon Abrahams. Hell, even Danny Masterson appears at some point. Six popcorns for a cornerstone slasher movie directed by Robert Rodriguez that goes into the Movie Vault as fast as a pencil goes through a hand.
