The Grand Tour: Eurocrash (2023)
Every country Jeremy, Richard and James want to visit is either a trouble hotspot, or has banned them from entering. Instead, they head to Central Europe, on a road trip nobody has ever thought of, in cars nobody would ever dream of using.
Just as always, the trio is up to stuff. Watch it, it’s almost two hours of great fun. Five popcorns.

Black Mirror - Season 6 (2023)
Joan Is Awful
Fun quirky multi-layered episode, loved the meta-ness of it. Five popcorns.
Loch Henry
Dark, gritty, loved the performances. And holy fuck, my man Podrick got big. Six popcorns.
Beyond the Sea
Great performance by Aaron Paul, with good acting by Josh Hartnett and Kate Mara too, but it felt predictable, but with a good ending. Four popcorns.
Mazey Day
This is good up to a point, but it falls on the weird side. Four popcorns, but it doesn’t really feel like Black Mirror, but more like Twilight Zone.
Demon 79
Great mood throughout the entire episode and great acting from Anjana Vasan and Paapa Essiedu. Six popcorns.
General opinion on Season Six
While the show feels pretty strange, because the focus is not on technology that much on most episodes, it still delivers and is a solid entertainment source. While a bit gorey and unexpected at some points, it’s a good addition and it seems better than the previous season. Five stars in general and gets into the Movie Vault, as it’s always a good rewatch.

Weird City (2019)
From the mind of Jordan Peele and Charlie Sanders comes WEIRD CITY, a satirical anthology set in the not-too-distant future metropolis of Weird. In this dystopian setting of our show, the middle class has completely vanished dividing Weird City into two sections: Above the Line (The Haves), and Below the Line (The Have Nots). Presiding over the denizens of the city is the strange and mysterious Dr. Negari, who weaves all of our stories together. Each episode is a topic that pertains to present day life in America and the world: social media addiction, online dating, fitness obsession, etc.. WEIRD CITY captures the unease of modern urban living, in a bizarre and peculiar lens.
Decent swing at a dumbed down version of Black Mirror. It’s not bad, but it’s not good either. The first episode, starring Ed O’Neill, is pretty good, although it has its cringe moments. The others range from decent to absolutely crap, with cringe moments sprinkled everywhere. Two popcorns because some of the actors there actually have a good performance. This could have been way better if it weren’t so cringe.

Mrs. Davis (2023)
Sister Simone partners with her ex-boyfriend Wiley on a globe-spanning journey to destroy Mrs. Davis, a powerful artificial intelligence.
This is a beautiful comedy/sci-fi adventure mini series. It’s normal, considering one of the creators is Damon Lindelof (Lost, Star Trek, Prometheus). If features great acting by a lot of good actors, Betty Gilpin and Jake McDorman make a good team, there’s a black Jesus, and there’s a great appearance of Chris Diamantopoulos (Russ “Tres Comas” Hanneman from “Silicon Valley”). This is super funny, over the top, quirky, filled with cliches to the point that it’s stupid. Love it, six popcorns and gets into the Movie Vault.

The Invisible Boy // Il ragazzo invisibile (2014)
Michele is thirteen year old, shy, unpopular at school, and in love with Stella. After wearing a costume for a Halloween party, he finds out that he’s invisible.
Good movie for the entire family. It’s nice to see superheroes appear somewhere else than US of A, and nicer to see Valeria Golino. Four popcorns and can’t wait to see the sequel.

Zombieland (2009)
A shy student trying to reach his family in Ohio, a gun-toting bruiser in search of the last Twinkie and a pair of sisters striving to get to an amusement park join forces in a trek across a zombie-filled America.
Nerdy college student Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) has survived the plague that has turned mankind into flesh-devouring zombies because he’s scared of just about everything. Gun-toting, Twinkie-loving Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) has no fears. Together, they are about to stare down their most horrifying challenge yet: each other’s company. Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin co-star in this double-hitting, head-smashing comedy.
