This is another trailer. The movie itself is not bad, and it’s a good rendition of the books. But only “okay”. It’s not a masterpiece, actually the hardcore fans of the Dune universe will hate it, for missing some important plot lines. In other news, it looks pretty, the music is interesting, the acting is so-so (except Christopher Waken, whose performance was a bust), so it gets four popcorns, mostly because it looks good. While waiting for part 3, I’ll start the miniseries again.

Dennis Quaid, Max von Sydow and Christopher Plummer star in this great 80s cyberpunk movie that blends real and dream under the great direction of Joseph Ruben (Sleeping with the Enemy, The Good Son, Money Train). It’s a good flick, perfect for a Saturday evening, so it gets three popcorns.

It’s got gadgets, technology used for the wrong purposes, all in all a great sci-fi flick. Five popcorns and it goes into the Movie Vault.

Sixth season of Drive To Survive covering the 2023 Formula One Championship season. It’s got drama, fake drama, more drama, Danica fucking Patrick to check the useless diversity box, Claire Williams to check the “woman with actual pertinent opinions” checkbox, Lewis Hamilton to lead the complaining department, Alonso and daddy Stroll. I always love some more Formula 1 content, but the quality has steadily decreased over the years, sign that any TV show loses its spark after five seasons.
