Classic comedy bringing together the genius of Steve Martin and John Candy, under the magic coordination of John Hughes (The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, producer of Home Alone). Excellent little movie that would keep you entertained for a while. Five popcorns and what a trip towards the Movie Vault.

Nothing to say about this. Just another brilliant movie starring Robbie Williams and some kids that will in time become A-list actors. Six popcorns and it jumps into the Movie Vault.

The Fall (2006)
In a hospital on the outskirts of 1920s Los Angeles, an injured stuntman begins to tell a fellow patient, a little girl with a broken arm, a fantastic story of five mythical heroes. Thanks to his fractured state of mind and her vivid imagination, the line between fiction and reality blurs as the tale advances.
Great fantasy movie with beautiful cinematography, pacing, music and story. Definitely one to see, because Lee Pace is good, but little Alexandria (Catinca Untaru) is brilliant. Five popcorns and jumps into the Movie Vault.

Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982)
A confined but troubled rock star descends into madness in the midst of his physical and social isolation from everyone.
Filled with symbolism and methaphors, this rock opera is a masterpiece telling a simple story, but using a dark and bleak setting, being strongly dated to the 80s. However, even if some people consider it dated, it talks about alienation, hate, conformity and angst and societal issues. All in all, this gets six popcorns, although this movie is very good, thought-provoking and forcing you to think, and goes into the Movie Vault

Actorul si salbaticii // The Actor and the Savages (1976)
The director of a famous theater in 1930s Bucharest and his Jewish dramatist are preparing a show designed to satirize the fascist (legionnaire) movement, but the legionnaires are determined to stop the spectacle by any means.
Great comedy starring one of the best comedy actors in Romanian cinema, Toma Caragiu. While it features the obligatory communist propaganda against legionnaires, it’s a good comedy and very funny with a lot of references that entered the popular culture. Five popcorns for a classic Romanian movie.
