A group of men go to a villa in the French countryside where they resolve to eat themselves to death.
Putting together the performance of Michel Piccoli and Marcello Mastroianni, along with two of the stars of Amici Miei Ugo Tognazzi and Philippe Noiret, this is a good dark comedy/drama, that mixes a lot of feelings. It’s a good movie, a thing almost normal for 1970s Italy, and the only thing that appears more than food is nudity, as it satirises consumerism and the decadence of the bourgeoisie. Four popcorns for this 70s classic.
