A generational story about families and the special place they inhabit, sharing in love, loss, laughter, and life.
This movie is the living proof that Hollywood has ran out of ideas. While the idea of the movie is nice, to show the stories witnessed by the camera from the beginning of time until today, the story jumps a lot backwards and forwards. It takes a bit of time to get used to them, but eventually they all make proper sense and they unfold nicely. This movie shows that Zemeckis can still make movies that look good, I really loved the transitions between timelines, as well as showing important moments in history from that point of view, while the performance of Paul Bettany and Robin Wright are really strong. All in all five popcorns for a movie that is not only gimmicky, but also tells some nice stories, which lands into the Movie Vault.
