A man settles down in a small town and becomes the scoutmaster.
A good piece of old-school Americana, about the life of Lem, played by Fred McMurray, and his tenureship as a scoutmaster in a small mid-western town. A young Kurt Russell does a great job playing Whitey, and the entire movie is a great nostalgic look back at what America used to be, including the great representation of hateful Ralph Hastings.
