Released in 2005, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is still one of the best looking animations ever made. Even if you don’t like the genre, the story is really nice, the choreography of the fighting scenes is amazing, the highway chase is absolutely superb. One of the two things that really make this movie stand out is the incredible attention to detail, especially on the textures, everything has depth and feels almost real, you swear you can reach out in your screen and touch that world. The second legendary part is the soundtrack, Nobuo Uematsu throwing classical music, techno and hard rock together and blending them in his well-known style.
Below you can see the trailer, two songs from the soundrack and a shit ton of screenshots, because this movie looks so damn good even after 17 years. Also yes, I gave it 6 🍿 out of 5. It’s that good.
