When a blood clot renders a scientist comatose, a submarine and its crew are shrunk and injected into his bloodstream in order to save him.
Excellent retro sci-fi movie. Directed by Richard Fleischer (Soylent Green, Red Sonja, 20000 Leagues Under the Sea), and starring the Edmond O’Brien and Stephen Boyd next to Raquel Welch (RIP) it is a great adventure movie, directed not at the moon and the stars (as most of the movies of the 60s were) but towards the atom, introspecting on the human condition. This movie is so good, it inspired a plethora of other films and TV series. All in all, 5 stars and this classic jumps into the Movie Vault.
