This season continues the story set in the wasteland of post-nuclear America and will introduce New Vegas, a major location from the video game Fallout: New Vegas.

Unfortunately, the ambition of this show will ultimately be its demise. It’s very well made and the production value (and budget) are very very high. The soundtrack is also absolutely mental. Because it’s also reliant on a ton of CGI, release schedule is going to be a pain in the butt. Add to this the fact that the season has only 8 episodes who barely scratch the overwhelmingly amount of storylines, the show looks great, but feels very rushed. For example, there’s a guy who was all over the news that is joining the cast in a recurring role, but so far he only appeared in one episode. However, for someone who never played the Fallout games, the show is really fine, but if you’re a more hardcore fan, it’s understandable if you’d want to stay away. Five popcorns, two stars.
