UP UP UP Seven miles a second! The first manned trip to the moon, happening in the (then) near future, and being funded by a consortium of private backers. Assorted difficulties occur and must be overcome in-flight.
Made in 1950, it is not only very informative in regards to space travel, but also set up pretty much all the things that became space movie tropes. All in all, this is not only a classic, this is a reference for future generations. Six popcorns.
