The first movie in the “Liceenii” saga, it tells the love story of Ioana and Alexandru, two high-schoolers face their feelings and their parents and teachers in a classig story. Its success made the communist regime spawn a number of sequels and spin-offs, revolving around the pupils of the two brilliant teachers, Socrates and Isoscelles, played magnificently by Ion Caramitru and Tamara Buciuceanu-Botez, respectively.
