It stars Eric Stoltz as Daniel Graystone, Esai Morales as Joseph Adama, Alessandra Torresani as Zoe Graystone and Polly Walker as Sister Clarice Willow. Too bad it got cancelled after the first season, cramming about four extra seasons of story into the second half of the first season, but in the end, it’s a solid retro-futuristic virtual reality cyberpunk sci-fi drama. I saw this back in 2010, weekly when each episode was released, and it’s a good starting point for the series, although it’s not actually mandatory. It is a bit slow burning at times, a bit annoying at other times (I kinda hate the mother, so this means she plays it well) and liked a lot the combination between technology, politics, religion and mobsters. Four popcorns.
