Throughout his life Edward Bloom has always been a man of big appetites, enormous passions and tall tales. In his later years, he remains a huge mystery to his son, William. Now, to get to know the real man, Will begins piecing together a true picture of his father from flashbacks of his amazing adventures.
A great story well put onto film by Tim Burton’s direction. It’s a classic freaky good movie which ticks most of his trademark checkboxes (Helena Bonham Carter yes, Johnny Depp no). Dark mood, great music (Danny Elfman, duh), excellent cast and acting make this for a solid six popcorns and a jump into the Movie Vault.
