The football team of a small town is relegated and ends up in the third division, so new people, goals and results are needed to return to the second division. The head of the “operation” is comrade Zmeu (Petre Gheorghiu), who has an idea every time it is needed. He recruits four coaches instead of one and establishes the Femina club, made up of the players’ wives, to support them in home matches, as well as away matches.
Excellent small comedy starring some of the best actors of the time. It’s sad that it’s pretty unknown because it got cancelled the day after the premiere because the Communist Party didn’t like showing people who get creative with scams. All in all it’s a fun comedy and it’s partly filmed in my hometown, so that makes it so cool. Five popcorns and jumps into the Movie Vault.
