As you might remember, back in October I posted an article named “Lost in Translation” which got published in ten languages.
In the follow up post, Lost and Found in Translation I said how I’m going to ask some friends more things about their country and their language.
After a short break, I restarted this project with the help of Liga, who also did the Latvian translation, available here.
Enjoy!
Tell me something about your country or your language that people always get wrong
People often think that Latvia is still a part of Russia.
Tell me something you would recommend a tourist to try in your country or city
I would highly recommend to book “Sunset cruise”. It’s a very beautiful way to sightsee while sailing for 2,5 hours all the way from the Riga’s centre to the Baltic sea and back during a sunset. With a glass of wine or a warm drink in hand it’s definitely a must. :)

“Sprīdītis (Littlefinger)” - The title for this movie in English sounds very weird :D It is 80s movie every Latvian knows by heart.

What’s your current phone or computer wallpaper? Does it have a particular meaning?
No particular meaning, just love the art :)
