In rural Ireland, a quiet, neglected girl is sent away from her dysfunctional family to live with relatives for the summer where she blossoms and learns what it is to be loved.

Such a heartfelt wee movie! It’s slow, it takes its time to slowly unfold itself and the story within. It’s emotional, the music is great, the acting (especially of the wee Catherine Clinch as Cáit, but also Carrie Crowley’s as Eibhlín) is spot on. Definitely one of the best movies I’ve seen this year, and it goes into the Movie Vault.

This is first movie that was pulled from the “Lost and Found in Translation” series, and it was suggested by Draí.
